The Suriname / Dutch Section > The Suriname / Dutch Section: De Islâm is: Internationaal: - Ze erkent alle profeten, die gedurende alle tijden door alle volkeren naar voren zijn gebracht en verwacht van haar belijders, dat zij in al deze profeten geloven. - Waarheid en goedheid kunnen in alle religiën gevonden worden. God behandelt alle mensen gelijk in rechtvaardigheid, ongeacht hun ras, nationaliteit of religie. Vredelievend: - Keurt geweld af, maar rechtvaardigt het in onvermijdbare gevallen van zelfverdediging. - Leert Muslims om vredig onder elke wet, die godsdienstvrijheid toestaat, te leven. Tolerant: - Geeft volledige vrijheid aan een ieder om zijn of haar geloof / levensovertuiging aan te hangen. - Verwacht van ons om verschillen in mening te tolereren. Rationeel: - Dringt er onder alle omstandigheden op aan om kennis en rede aan te wenden. - Blindelings navolgen wordt veroordeeld, terwijl onafhankelijkheid van mening toegestaan is. Inspirerend: - Aanbidding is, behalve een rituele handeling, voornamelijk een persoonlijk contact tussen de dienaar en de Levende God, Die gebeden verhoort en spreekt tot Zijn rechtschapen dienaren. Non-sektarisch: - Een ieder, die gelooft dat er geen God is dan Allâh en dat Muhammad Zijn Profeet is (Lâ ilâha ill-Allâh Muhammad dur Rasûlullâh), is een Muslim en kan door niemand uit de Islâm verstoten worden. Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad leerde ons dat geen enkele profeet, oud of nieuw, zal verschijnen na de Heilige Profeet Muhammad (s.a.w.). Wel zullen er hervormers (Mudjaddids) verschijnen om de zuivere leer van de Islâm in ere te herstellen en de Islâm nieuw leven in te blazen. 1.
